The X-Men and Avengers movies had me thinking it would have been awesome if the "Uncanny Avengers" formed in the Bronze Age.
"All-New, All-Different Avengers #1" (July 1975) features Iron Man, Thor, Wasp, Hawkeye, Moondragon, Beast, Scarlet Witch, Vision, Storm, Black Panther, Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Banshee, Sunfire, and Thunderbird.
By issue #75 (Sept 1981), Captain America, Wonder Man, Tigra, Moon Knight, Jocasta, Quicksilver, Yellowjacket, Dazzler (in her disco outfit), Iceman, Angel, Hercules, Black Widow, Ghost Rider, Darkstar, Havok, and Polaris have joined the team -- which is now called the "Uncanny Avengers." Wonder Man and Scarlet Witch become a couple, as do Jocasta and Vision.
By issue #150 (Jan 1988), Black Knight, Hellcat, Ms. Marvel, Falcon, Spider-Man, She-Hulk, Captain Marvel (Monica Rambeau), Ant-Man (Scott Lang), Firestar, Multiple Man, Siryn, Shadowcat, Lockheed, Psylocke, Rogue, Longshot, and Namor have joined the team -- which is now called the "Amazing Avengers." Rather than stealing her powers from Ms. Marvel, Rogue was voluntarily given her flight and superstrength powers by the orginal Captain Marvel, Mar-Vell, as he was dying from cancer.
I would love to have connecting posters of the covers of "All-New, All-Different Avengers #1," "Uncanny Avengers #75," and "Amazing Avengers #150."
